First, the meat.
Bernard got his undergraduate degree from Boston College, and his graduate degree from Harvard. He has led the creation of Webby nominated web sites. He has written TV spots that ran during the Masters on CBS. He has grown social media followings from zero to 250,000 in just three years. He has been quoted on marketing and business issues in the New York Times, Business Week, Fortune, and the LA Times.  He has offered presentations on marketing throughout the world: from a specially outfitted luxury train traveling from Chicago to Santa Fe; to boardrooms in LA, Detroit, NYC, Tokyo, London, Seoul, and Brussels. He has participated in exciting brand births and transformations.

Now, the spice.
Bernard is irreverent and independent. He believes that brands should ignore all the benchmarking, and just be their real selves. He believes that true differentiation involves more than putting words in a deck; it is being TRULY DIFFERENT. He is principled to a fault, and is fine with that.
